A note about my work.
All of the sculptures shown in this site are created from Puppen polymer clay made by Eberhard Faber unless otherwise noted. They
are sculpted over strong wire and brass rod armatures with all the detail done by me. I don't advocate the use of molds in one of a kind
sculptures, they have their place in the reproduction market, but not in Art that isn't intended to be duplicated.  The average size of my
sculptures are around 7 to 9 inches in height.

I hand paint the eyes on all my pieces,  they are not commercial doll eyes. They are framed with real eyelashes.  The hair  I use on my
sculptures is either fine Angora mohair or Tibetan lambs wool, the finest available.  In most cases I have custom dyed the mohair
myself. I use only the best materials I can find in my work- I even have fabrics imported from all over the world!

You will notice a number assigned to every original sculpture. Since I began sculpting in 1988, I have numbered each one of a kind
sculpture. As you can see, for that number of years, the count is not high- and I work in my studio full time. It takes me several days to
complete a sculpt- I do not rush so I'm able to include every detail in the anatomy, even if the sculpt is fully clothed later.

I hope you'll enjoy looking at this extensive body of work- and thank you for stopping by!
